The Cornell game was Michigan's only loss in the 1894, finishing with a 9-1-1 record. A second game between Cornell and Michigan was held later in the year in Detroit, and Michigan beat Cornell in the rematch. As far as we can verify, this is the earliest surviving ticket from a University of Michigan football game.
