This was the first college football game - at any college - to be broadcast over the radio.  WWJ of Detroit broadcast the game live from Ferry Field as Michigan soundly beat the Badgers.  The broadcasters, Ty Tyson and Doc Holland, were required to purchase tickets to the event.
