Not a typo, the ticket says Michigan State, but the Spartans cancelled their entire football schedule in 1943.  Due to World War II, Michigan State had only one returning player.  Michigan rescheduled a game with Western Michigan instead.  Rather than re-issuing tickets, the Michigan State ticket was valid to enter the Western Michigan game.
