Michigan State 28, Michigan 27 The infamous loss to State was the result of two missed calls. Michigan went for the victory with a two-point conversion attempt. Desmond Howard was interfered with, but still caught the ball. The officials denied the catch and ignored the interference. For a great commentary on the game, read the UMGOBLUE.COM article.
