Game Cancelled

The Spartans cancelled their entire football schedule in 1943.  Due to World War II, Michigan State had only one returning player.  Michigan rescheduled a game with Western Michigan instead.  Rather than re-issuing tickets, the Michigan vs Michigan State ticket shown here was valid for entry to the Michigan vs. Western Michigan game.   Michigan won that game 57-6.
